Biscayne Bay y Miami
Lauderdale.
Miami Beach
Miami Vice with actor Don Johnson became a hit television show, and around the same time a photographer ventured onto the top of one of Ocean Drive’s Art Deco hotels for a Calvin Klein “Obsession” photo shoot. Both events helped renew interest in South Beach and it soon became the destination of choice for fashion shoots and films. Sharon Stone, Sylvester Stallone, Wesley Snipes, Marisa Tomei, Angelica Houston, Arnold Schwarzenegger, James Woods, Jamie Lee Curtis, Whitney Houston, Kevin Costner and Sean Connery have all appeared in films shot in Miami in recent years. Fashion and commercial photo shoots are commonplace throughout South Beach. During the day, models, vintage cars, Harleys, and rollerbladers of all ages parade past tourists who are relaxing and people watching from one of Ocean Drive’s many outdoor cafes. By night, the clubs sizzle.
Key Largo and Key West
The Florida Keys located south of Miami are a special place made up of more than 40 islands linked to the mainland by one road called the Overseas Highway. Key Largo is the most poplar destination for private charters embarking in Miami. People are drawn to the unique atmosphere of the Keys, the lure of world-famous sunsets, tropical beaches and spectacular snorkeling and scuba diving sites. Ernest Hemingway felt this and made his home in Key West for many years and Jimmy Buffet immortalized this paradise with his songs. Visitors to the Keys will immediately enjoy the Caribbean feel of the islands, bathed in the warmth of a tropical sun and tempered ocean breezes. The Keys are truly a romantic destination, rich in history, culture and natural treasures.
Bimini and The Bahamas
Bimini is the nearest Bahamian island (actually two islands) to the USA. Barley 50 miles from Miami, it’s a short trip from Miami. A tiny island in the Bahamas, Bimini is just 7 miles long and barely 700 feet wide at its widest point. Bimini is the western most island in the Bahamas and the closest foreign island to the US mainland. Whether you come with the family, as a couple, or single for bar hopping, scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, tanning on the beaches, exploring rain forests, or relaxing in a hammock in the cool breeze, the Bahamas will leave you speechless and satisfied. US Passport or birth certificate is required when traveling to the Bahamas.
